‘EXPLICANDO’ THE SEND
A HISTÓRIA FUNDADORA
Nos últimos 18 anos, o ministério do The Call encheu estádios com a mensagem de jejum e oração acreditando que a América se voltaria para Jesus. Em 2011 o Senhor falou com os líderes do The Call através de um grupo de missionários do YWAM (Youth With A Mission/JOCUM) que uma virada estava por vir e iria nascer um movimento de envio como um começo do resultado dos anos de jejum e oração.
Em 2016, o estádio Gathering no LA Coliseum, o evento começou com 70 mil pessoas levantando seus sapatos em sinal de rendição para levar o evangelho a todos os lugares. Este encontro, chamado Azusa Now, catalisou um movimento de base que começou a ativar os cristãos para evangelizar e mobilizar missionários em todo o mundo.
Em resposta ao Azusa Now, uma colaboração de ministérios nacionais se reuniu em Orlando, Flórida, para buscar a Deus. Acreditando que o impulso de base deve se tornar um movimento nacional, cada líder assumiu o compromisso de fazer o que fosse necessário para ver a reevangelização da América e a conclusão da Grande Comissão. O The Send nasceu.

For the past 18 years, the ministry of The Call has filled stadiums with a message of prayer and fasting believing that America would turn back to Jesus. In 2011 the Lord spoke to the leaders of The Call through a group of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) missionaries that a shift was coming that would give birth to a new sending movement, as a beginning fulfillment to their years of prayer and fasting.
In 2016, at a stadium gathering in the LA Coliseum, the shift began as 70,000 people raised their shoes in response to a call to go anywhere for the gospel. This gathering, called Azusa Now, catalyzed a grassroots movement that began activating believers to evangelism and mobilizing missionaries all over the world.
In response to the momentum of Azusa Now, a collaboration of national ministries gathered together in Orlando, FL to seek the Lord. Believing that the grassroots momentum must become a national movement, each leader grabbed hands making a commitment to do whatever it would take to see the re-evangelization of America and the finishing of the Great Commission. THE SEND was born.
